LGBTQ Rights and Activism

The story of LGBTQ activism in the United States has been at various times a quest for tolerance, a struggle for acceptance, and a battle to keep the rights that have already been won. Through the years, advocates for LGBTQ rights have worked on several fronts to change laws and shift public opinion. Though the process has been slow at times and remains incomplete, this activism has dramatically changed the lives of LGBTQ individuals in America.
